On life and death and such.

This picture reminds me of how religion brings such peace and comfort to may people in this world of ours that's torn apart by religious strife.

I took this picture last week, the same day as my 10/21 entry. I guess it's time to admit I like taking pictures of things reflected in water.

ISSMA Class B State Marching Band Finals

On the Pan Am Plaza right outside the RCA Dome with my favorite clarinet player, The Concord HS band finished second at the state finals, then they marched to the plaza and played in the rain for their parents and other supporters. Let there be no doubt, I was a proud Dad.

Gang Graffiti

Graffiti along the mill race in Goshen, no doubt the work of one of the many Amish youth gangs in our area.
Truth be known, I've always had a thing for a "hot" babe with green eyes.

Nothing for today
Darn it's hard to come up with a new picture everyday, and I didn't do anything today worth telling about. Oh ya "meat loaf" for dinner I'm sure that will be of great interest to everyone .

Drawers

Used underwear for sale at the Mennonite thrift shop in Goshen. It was a good shopping trip, as I was able to get presents for most of the people on my Christmas list.

Squirrel in Goshen

City squirrels are easier to photograph than their country cousins, maybe it's because no one shoots at them, although my mother has threaten shoot em at her bird feeders.
(don't mess with mama's bird feeders)

Ducks at Ox Bow Park

The sun was low and there was lots of green algae on the water. I took this picture at 1600 X 1200, opened it in PhotoShop, copied it and pasted it onto a 750 X 563 canvas, centered the ducks and saved.
