Thanksgiving Day
I got up at 3 AM to take my band member to school for the band trip to Hollywood ...
The 73rd Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade. The Parade will begin at 5 pm on Hollywood Boulevard, is expected to last two hours and attract over one million spectators along the 3.5 mile parade route.
I had a Thanksgiving Dinner that couldn't be beat ...
I went home with a 1/4 of a pumpkin pie (it was gone by 2 AM) ...

A structure that supports the end of a bridge.

abutment
They'll stone ya when you're at the breakfast table.
They'll stone ya when you are young and able.
They'll stone ya when you're tryin' to make a buck.
They'll stone ya and then they'll say, "good luck."
Everybody must get stoned.

Historical Marker

I have always enjoyed stopping to read historical markers, a fella can learn something. This marker sets in a small park along the Elkhart River near New Paris IN.

Swim Meet

Much cooler things happened at Tuesdays swim meet than a little boy eating his fingers. My favorite swimmer won the 500 freestyle and swam her fastest 100 butterfly ever (1:09:67) ---- Dad yelled himself hoarse !!

A Fishin' Tip

I think the bobber should be in the water not hooked to a tree limb, but I want to thank you for adding some color to an otherwise drab picture.

Double Nickels

While walking this morning I was thinking to myself, how could I be another year older? Then I came upon this squirrel who just stood there and gave me a "look" well being in no mood for "looks" I says to him "what you lookin' at shorty" now get this, he has the nerve to say to me "what you lookin' at old fat slowpoke" ....
Darn it, when I was young I never lost a battle of wits with a rodent .

Ain't She Sweet

Ain't she sweet?
See her coming down the street!
Now I ask you very confidentially,
Ain't she sweet?
Ain't she nice?
Look her over once or twice
Now I ask you very confidentially,
Ain't she nice?

From Ken

This looks like one large spruce tree to me
I don't know what kind of fir/evergreen this tree is. It stands on the Main Street. Each branch drapes like it were a gigantic washing spindle for a car wash. I've not seen another around, but I'd suppose there are some to be found. What's hard about this as a subject is it is tall (I'm across the street) so I can't get the true effect of the draping branches which make it quite imposing where it stands. If I get closer I will lose the whole shot of the tree to get the effect of the branches but lose the grandeur of what the tree is as a whole.... It presents itself all year round in the fashion of what trees look like on a winter day after an ice storm or early in the morning after a wet heavy snow. I'd say this tree has been around for a long time.
