there was a large box elder tree in the back yard
with the best tire swing ever, the Ralstons lived
next door and sold worms/bait from their garage,
our phone # was Mutual 48427 (a party line) it's
funny that I remember the # because even though
we've had our present phone # for almost 5 years
I still have to look in my wallet every time I'm ask ...

Fishing In Downtown Elkhart

I walked along the river walk in Elkhart today and saw
these two guys fishing, They are fishing right where the
Elkhart river and the St. Joseph river join. I watched them
for few minuets then had to move on because watching
them made my feet cold !
