Elkhart Regatta

The "Head of the Elk" is a 2.5-mile scenic race,
on the beautiful Upper St. Joseph River.

i saw michigan state, michigan, indiana, purdue,
notre dame, marquette, but my favorite was
grand valley state !!!!!

storm damage

with all the news lately about hurricanes katrina and rita, we shouldn't forget that indiana has it's share of devastating weather too. here is a photo of the damage caused to my home by a storm that passed through a few days ago. it really makes me cherish what i have and remind me not to take things for granted.

Frank Deford

Last night we went to a fund raising dinner for the
Samaritan Center. The guest speaker was Frank Deford.
I had the great pleasure of sitting by Molly during dinner.
Here she is talking with Frank. Molly is the director of the Sunburst Race that is held annually in South Bend .
