Girls swimmers in sectional prelims

Girls sectional swimming preliminaries were held Thursday night at Concord High School.
Diving competition begins Saturday at 9 a.m. with swimming finals at 2 p.m.
Team favorite Northridge has top seeds with freshman Katie Griffin, senior Lyndsay McBride, freshman Adrienne Andrews and senior Cari Yoder in the 200-yard medley relay; sophomore Elizabeth Spilman in the 200 freestyle and 100 free; Conniff in the 200 individual medley; sophomore Becca Lantz, freshman Savannah Galbreath, freshman Katie Griffin and Conniff in the 400 free relay.
Goshen qualified No. 1 in the 200 free relay with freshman Chali Woods-Cross, junior Sarah Fink, junior Danielle Coppotelli and senior Erika Sutliff. In the 100 breaststroke, Sutliff will also be seeded first.
Sophomore Gabby Ziebold of Concord is No. 1 in the 100 butterfly and senior teammate JUlie Elmore is quickest in the 500 free.
