i take part in a yahoo group made up of guy's who
all served with the same rifle company in rvn ....
there was lots of trash talk before the ncaa finals
and i did more than my fair share ...
i sent them this graphic the morning after ....

i spent much of today in bed, was really
tired after yesterday and tomorrow will be
my usual saturday 7am to sunday 8am

work
i worked thursday with a new home care patient
staff sargent clarence u.s. army air corp ww2, 88yo ....
a cornhusker (all sooners can kiss his behind -- big grin)
i met up with his wife thursday morn'n, we went to the
nursing home and loaded sarge into their van and took
him home for 23 hrs. .....
discharge is planed for the 9th ...
need to arrange for hospital bed and commode ...
full time help for at least the first week and then
reevaluate what is going to be needed to keep him home ...
his meds are a nightmare, i was thankful the nursing
home sent detailed instructions, and the wife was
competent to follow them !!!
many health problems -- a fall that fractured his neck put
him in the nursing home -- i don't know that he'll ever be
able to rebound but he has a positive attitude and that
will go a long way in helping ....
really nice folks, i didn't hear one word of complaint ....
